My acer aspire E1-572-6676 would connect to the internet fine and works really well. however when someone else uses their device on the same FLOOR of the house it disconnects from the wifi. When they are using it lets say in the basement the pc works perfectly fine (most of the time sometimes it disconnects with no one being in the house). Hi, no. It is a new laptop. We bought it w/out an installed OS cause it is too expensive. I manually installed the os and i checked everything, all of the drivers are okay except for the wireless adapter. so i did some troubleshooting but it is still not working.
Hi!I have an Acer aspire 5755G with a windows 10. My WiFi connection list does not apear. My Wifi key does not turn on the Wifi lamp as well. I checked device manager but I do not see the drive, I installed a broadband wireless drive for windows 8 but it does not install or help. Also I installed the drive downloader and it checked the drivers. It says that the device associated with the wireless derive (Atheros AR5B97) is not connected .what should I do now?no firewall, no airplane mode.Thanks

have Reatek PCI GBE family controller but says its good up to Kali v. 4.7 ? Will it work with the recent kernel or i need something else? Also have Qualcome Atheros AR5B222 but cant find drivers for that also. This drivers search been a nightmare. Purchased TL NW7227 v1.10 adapter, having trouble installing that also. I am just about ready to expose and if someone is nice enough to offer to Team-view me and help get this fixed. Anyone
AVG are telling me that the driver for my Realtek PCIe GBE family controller is out of date. This may be a way of AVG wanting me to subscribe to even more things, or it may be an improvement, if I can get it done. I have tried to download the driver, the first on the list, but I am not a permitted client apparently. Do I need to do something or shall I just forget the whole business? Thanks for your time.
The device does not have a device driver: When a device driver for a device is not available, Device Manager displays the device as Unknown Device and puts it in the Other devices branch. Also, a status of Error Code 1 or Error Code 10 may be displayed when you view the properties of the device in Device Manager.Note Most USB and IEEE 1394 devices function correctly without additional device drivers because they are configured by the drivers that are included with Windows for these bus types. However, an additional device driver is needed if the device does not fit the defined and supplied Windows class drivers. If the bus cannot identify the device, it interprets the device as a composite device and then reports it as such in Device Manager.
